Referee assignments for both recreation and competitive games are completed through an arbiter website. Referees select games at their appropriate age and level. All games are confirmed with the Ref Coordinator. 99.9% of games have been filled over the past few years.

Referee courses are offered, at minimum, twice a year in the area. All referees undergo an 18-hour course, then must pass the final exam before they are certified to referee.

Over the past several years, Mid-County Youth Soccer Club has offered an on-field training day for all new referees. The newly certified referees are provided mentorship in proper calls, techniques, and professionalism.
